Wrestling Legend John Noble to Compete in Final Match at AMW Thanksgiving Turmoil: War Games

Saturday, November 22nd, fans will witness history as John Noble steps into the ring for

the final time. This momentous event will take place at AMW’s annual Thanksgiving Turmoil:

War Games in Hazard, Kentucky.

John Noble, a respected veteran with a remarkable 28-year career, announced at the start

of 2025 that this would be his farewell year from in-ring competition. His legendary journey

has taken him across the Eastern half of the United States and into Canada, where he

collected championships, headlined marquee events, and faced some of the best

professional wrestlers in the world. Most recently, Noble challenged NWA World

Heavyweight Champion Thomas Latimer, proving that even after nearly three decades,

he could still perform at the highest level.

For his final match, Noble personally requested to face none other than his former ally

turned bitter rival, “Headliner” Chris Michaels. Once close friends, the two men’s

relationship dissolved earlier this year when Michaels brutally attacked Noble following a

match. Fueled by pride and determination, Noble approached AMW management and

demanded this showdown to close out his storied career.

This encounter is set to be one of the biggest matches in Appalachian Mountain

Wrestling history. Noble’s final bout will not only settle a heated grudge but will also serve

as a celebration of one of the region’s most iconic wrestling careers.
